Join in this year’s Pitch-In Week in New Tecumseth

Pitch-In Canada is inviting you to get outside, get active, and have fun while participating in its 49th annual Pitch-In week campaign.
Pitch-In Week takes place from April 17-23 to coincide with Earth Day and will include over 622,400 volunteers across the country.
The Town of New Tecumseth is once again inviting you to get an early start on Pitch-In Week as it will be held locally through April 23.
The Town of New Tecumseth will supply you, your organization, community group, or school with garbage bags and gloves to clean-up your schoolyard, neighbourhood, favourite park or playground.
This is a great time to do some outdoor spring cleaning and make a difference in the community.
Please let them know your plans. Arrangements can be made for pick up of the waste you collect at a pre-arranged site. For additional information and/or to request your free PITCH-IN garbage bags and gloves, please call 705-435-4030 or 905-936-4203 ext. 1421 or email jthomas@newtecumseth.ca.
Supplies will be delivered approximately one week before your event.
