Local marijuana bust worth over $1 million

The Nottawasaga Detachment, Street Crime Unit, executed a search warrant at 10:30 a.m., September 22nd, in New Tecumseth which resulted in the seizure of approximately one million dollar’s worth of marijuana plants as well as 25 kilos of harvested marijuana worth approximately $150,000.
These plants were being cultivated in 19 greenhouses as well as an outdoor grow operation.
Charged with, Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking, and Cultivation of Marijuana are (1) Yi Yen Dhen, age 49. (2) Dongrong Huang, age 56. (3) Ju-Ming Su, age 32. (4) Bing Wen Zhou, age 41. All four males are from the Toronto area. They will appear in Criminal Court at a later date to answer to the charges.
Assisting with the execution of the search warrant were members of the Emergency Response Team (ERT), Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU), and the Central Region Community Drug Action Team.
