Male arrested in connection to Thornton vehicle B&E’s

On September 30th, members of the OPP, Nottawasaga Detachment Street Crime Unit, arrested a male person in relation to thefts from vehicles. These thefts took place in the Thornton area on the evening of September 13th and early morning hours of September 14th, 2015.
Cory Chatterton, age 21, from Innisfil has been charged with 3 counts of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime, 3 counts of Use Stolen Credit Card, 2 counts of Breach of Probation and 1 count of Possession of Cocaine. He has been held for bail and will appear in court on October 5th, 2015.
The members of the Nottawasaga OPP Street Crime Unit would like to speak to anyone who had their vehicle entered during the evening of September 13th and early morning hours of September 14th, 2015 who live in the Barrie, Innisfil or Nottawasaga Detachment area. Investigation is continuing with more arrests expected.
OPP want to remind residents to make sure that your vehicle is locked and valuable items removed or placed where they are not visible. Most importantly, please lock your vehicle.
