The 4th Annual Matthews House Hospice Harvest Gal, held on October 2, at the New Tecumseth Recreation Centre Field House, was a great success.
“Thanks to the sponsors, volunteers, staff and the 650 participants who contributed and enjoyed the dinner, dance and auctions, the hospice raised over $200,000 to support it’s operations and programs,” said Sue Bowser, Team Leader, Awareness and Events, Matthews House Hospice.
“Matthews House Hospice provides a unique home like experience in our now four bed Residential Hospice; chronic disease management programs; and grief and bereavement services including wellness programs at our community hospice,” added Bowser. “At Matthews House Hospice we couldn’t provide the free services and care we give to our clients and their families without the generous support from our community at our Annual Harvest Gala. Your support continues to make a huge difference for individuals and families coping with a potentially life threatening illness or end of life.”
