Misfit Militia to host a triple header event on July 19th

Alliston’s first roller derby team, the Misfit Militia, will be hosting an all out roller derby extravaganza at the Alliston Memorial Arena on July 19th.
There will be not one, not two but three full contact, high energy, competitive battles to be fought by six different teams on the flat track. There will be five different teams visiting the Misfits. These are: Forest City Derby Girls: Timber Rollers (London); Forest City Derby Girls: Luscious Lunch Ladies (London); Grey Bruce Roller Derby: Highland Dames (Grey-Bruce); Fergus Roller Derby: Fergus Feims (Fergus); Crow City Rollers: All Stars (Chatham).
The tentative schedule has the evening kicking off with the Fergus Feims taking on the Luscious Lunch Ladies. Doors open at 3:30 p.m. first game at 4 p.m.
Following that game, the hometown Misfit Militia will be challenged by the Timber Rollers. The night cap will be the Highland Dames taking on the All Stars from Crow City. This promises to be an amazing and exciting event with lots of spills, thrills and an amazing display of athleticism!
