Nature walk through time – kids earn a conservation credit

Calling all children and adults to come to Scanlon Creek Conservation Area for a walk through time. The walks are on Sunday, August 4, 11, 18 and 25 from 9 – 11 a.m. and are offered by the Friends of Scanlon Creek. Join in as the Friends will take you on a 400 million year journey to the Scanlon Creek of today. Come and experience life altering innovations through time as illustrated by the plants at Scanlon Creek.  Along the way children play “Find Five” and earn points toward their “Conservationist Certificate.”

Please meet at the Nature Centre, wear sturdy shoes, bring sunscreen and bug spray.
