New sign board the pride of the Tottenham community

June 19, 2014   ·   0 Comments

On Friday, June 13th, the Beeton–Tottenham Business Improvement Association (BTBIA) unveiled two new service club signs in Tottenham. The signs – one situated to the north end by Home Hardware and the other at the south end by Rod Abrams Funeral Home – are the “two most important signs in the community,” according to Bo Niederhuber, BTBIA president, This says Niederhuber because they bear the logos of the service groups that have helped to build the community. Currently, the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #329 (Tottenham), Community Recreation Improvement Committee (or C.R.I.C.), The Tottenham & District Lions Club Inc., BTBIA and the Tottenham–Beeton & District Chamber of Commerce have signs posted. There is room for 16 signs in total. The new sign boards are made from galvanized steel to stand the test of time, and were designed by Russell Kelly of Russell Kelly Signs. They replace wooden service club sign boards that had previously been located in the same areas of town. For more information on how to get your service club sign posted, call the BTBIA at 905-936-3424.
