New Tecumseth Votes 2022 – Meet Your Candidates: Ward 4

September 22, 2022   ·   0 Comments

Ahead of October’s Municipal Election, the New Tecumseth Times reached out to all Council candidates to learn more about who they are and what they hope to bring to the 2022-2026 Council table.

Here’s how our Ward 4 candidates responded.

Ashlie Drake

“The Town of New Tecumseth is a wonderful community to reside in. Residents aren’t afraid to bind together to uplift and lend a helping hand to others when needed.”

Ashlie knows first-hand “how amazing and empowering this town truly is. After a life altering accident, the Town showed her and her family support like no other! Ashlie is seeking election to make a difference and give back to our community by serving YOU the people.”

A priority for the Town and Ward 4 is increasing the accessibility-for-all building standards for all new development and redevelopment projects.

Alan Masters

I’ve advocated for the Town for many years and I now believe it’s time to step forward and that I can make a difference by bringing a fresh new voice and ideas toC. Also, as a businessman and proven “team builder,” sitting on many Town committees in the past and currently, I believe in moving the ball ahead together as a solid team!

My priority for the Town and my Ward: The proper and well-planned development of our Town, (including water and drainage). As a Transportation advocate: public, traffic safety and roads. Wise management in the expenditure and application of our taxes.
