Not too late to ‘Run for the Cure’ in Alliston

The Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation Run for the Cure will be right here in Alliston and it’s not too late to sign up! Please visit http://www.runforthecure.com/

We will be giving away a  patio heater for the top online fundraiser – just in time for the cool nights! The patio heater was kindly donated by Crown Vertiy. Approximately retail value is $450! Prize will be awarded the day of the event. (The highest amount of donations per person, not as a team ) Good luck!

Alliston’s 3rd Canadian Breast Cancer Run For the Cure event takes place on October 6, in the East Side Mario’s parking lot. Registration begins at 9 a.m. and the Walk /Run will start at 10:30 a.m. Registering online by September 20th to receive your official T-shirt.

For those who have not registered online, T-shirts will be limited. All T-shirts will be given out on the Run Date when you check in.

This year the Foundation is asking everyone to pay $40 to cover any cost. In previous years they found that people were signing up to receive their official T-shirts but not raising any money. If anyone who has not registered online yet and are not comfortable paying the $40 fee please contact me at esmerin@rogers.com

If you can’t register online bring your donation sheet and money to the registration table on October 6th!

Each participant will receive one ticket for a hamburger for after your walk/run. Each participant will also receive a ticket to win some fabulous raffle prizes after the walk/run, and your T-shirt!

Raffle prizes this year have come in from our fabulous community partners and include: basket full of skin care/makeup products; BBQ items; jewellery from Stella & Dot; sunglasses; flowers….just to name a few!

If you are unable to walk / or run but still want to support this event, come out and cheer the participants on. You can also purchase tickets for the raffle, and make a donation for a hamburger.
