The Nottawasaga Valley Conservation Authority will be hosting its annual Arbor Day tree sale, with native tree species available for local residents to plant on their property.
Trees are bare root stock and will be sold in bundles of ten for $30 per bundle.
This year’s sale features a variety of different trees and shrubs.
Available bundles include White Pine, Red Pine, White Spruce, Norway Spruce, White Cedar, Tamarack, European Larch, Red Oak, Silver Maple, Sycamore, Black Walnut, Nannyberry, and American Highbush Cranberry.
Trees will be available on a first-come first-serve basis and quantities are limited.
This is a very popular event so be sure to arrive early to avoid disappointment.
The sale will take place at the Tiffin Centre for Conservation located at 8195 8th Line of Essa, Utopiam from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on May 11.
