Oh yes it’s ladies night…

Sophie’s Sweets, in partnership with Carlos & Antonio Events, hosted the first ‘Girl Tyme Social’ in Alliston last Thursday. The event included sweets, draws, raffles, wine, shopping, appetizers and live entertainment. The event also featured vendors: The Beach House Spa & Wellness (Alisha), Jockey Person to Person (Angelica), Amongst Freindz (Rosie) and Merx Inc/Zita Chic (Lisa). A portion of the entrance fee ($35) and a 50/50 draw will be donated for Matthews House Hospice. “Overall we raised $300 for Matthews House,” said Carlos. The idea to host a ladies night came from the need to create a gathering place for women in the area. “We want the ladies of the community to know they’re welcome to gather here with their friends,” Carlos added.
