New Tecumseth Public Library is pleased to present the second annual One Book, One New Tecumseth event this summer featuring ‘No Relation’ by Terry Fallis. The goal is to get all of New Tecumseth reading and discussing the same book.
Join: Join the experience! New Tecumseth Public Library invites you to join a community-wide reading experience where residents come together to read and discuss one book.
Read: Join your community, friends and family in reading ‘No Relation’ to create a community-wide reading connection. We have chosen this title due to its broad appeal to both men and women. In his fourth novel, the Canada Reads – and Leacock Medal for Humour-winning author Terry Fallis’s sharp wit and storytelling takes readers into the world of identity, fame, family, and, oh yes, men’s underwear. Request or purchase your copy of this great book at any branch of the library – books will be available for purchase for $15.
Discuss: Join the conversation: have your book club discuss No Relation or register for one of the book club discussion groups hosted by New Tecumseth Public Library. Watch our website, facebook page and blog for more details on the events connected with this community experience.
Connect: Connect with the author and with your community. Mark your calendar for Thursday, October 30th from 7 – 9 p.m. and plan to be a part of the Terry Fallis Author Event at the Nottawasaga Inn Resort. The evening will include an author talk followed by a book-signing. Tickets go on sale July 28th for $10.
Enjoy a great read, participate in a book club discussion and meet the author: there are so many ways to be involved in this community experience.
