OPP investigating

Clancey McGuire (Dufferin, lead), Greg Lemcke and Natalie Hanks (Caledon), and Dufferin media officer Paul Nancekievel pose last Friday with the $100,000 cache of goods recovered at one location in Amaranth but stolen from Simcoe, Alliston, Caledon, Wellington and Nottawasaga as well as from Dufferin. Not included in this outdoor display are 14 firearms including an early model breech loading Lee Enfield rifle with attached long bayonet. OPP have arrested one suspect and are looking for three others whose identity is known to them. A lot of credit is being given to an alert public and to Const. McGuire’s knowledge of the area.
