The second of the Grass Roots concert tour is happening on Friday October 25th in Tottenham.
“We are hosting award winning acoustic performances of established Canadian artists and then inviting our friends to come for an evening concert in our home in Tottenham from 7:30 to 9 p.m.. All proceeds go to the band. Bring your own drinks. Coffee and tea and goodies provided. An intimate evening with friends and strangers by fire light is guaranteed,” said organizer Chris Turman.
“This time we have eclectic and energetic Manitoba artist Jaxon Haldane. His songs range from rousing party anthems to somber murder ballads, scathing political commentary to hilarious romantic folly. Unpredictable and very entertaining. Jaxon led Winnipeg’s the D.Rangers and toured for years with the likes of Fred Eaglesmith, the Sadies, Corb Lund, Old Reliable and Corin Raymond. More recently, as engineer and producer, Haldane has recorded such artists as Little Miss Higgins, Romi Mayes, the F-Holes, Dry Bones and Jonathan Byrd.”
