The Town of New Tecumseth has made paying parking tickets easier with the launch of Paytickets, an on-line service where residents can pay parking tickets using a secure server, 24 hours a day.
To pay a parking fine, all a resident will need is a valid VISA or MasterCard, the ticket information and access to the Internet in order to make a payment.
“The traditional methods of coming in and paying in person, as well as mailing in a cheque, will also continue to be available, but using the Paytickets option should make things more convenient,” said Kim Wingrove, Director of Economic Development & Communication Services. “Joining other Ontario municipalities in this e-government initiative allows the Town to improve the service we provide to our residents.”
