South Simcoe Physiotherapy is moving!
After a year and a half at their current location on Victoria Street in Alliston, they will be moving across town to 180 Parsons Road, Unit 8, about two kilometers away.
The new space is part of a medical complex, also home to a Blood Lab, X-ray Clinic, Chiropractor and Naturopath. South Simcoe Physiotherapy owner and Physiotherapist Ryan Shea says the medical professionals the building will provide a one-stop-shop for medical needs.
Monday, October 21 is the expected first day of business in the new location, provided there are no hiccups with construction before then. The 1200 square foot space is currently undergoing a full renovation, from floors to walls to electrical work, and has a floor plan that was designed for a custom fit for South Simcoe Physiotherapy’s needs.
Shea says they try to emphasize the importance of privacy during treatment for greater patient comfort. Their current office has four semi-private rooms, but the new location will have five entirely private treatment rooms with floor-to-ceiling walls. Their philosophy is to treat each patient one-on-one, and the individual rooms will help to focus on that.
A reception area and fully functional gym will also be available for patient use, all with a nice clean, modern feel to the décor.
Although the bigger, custom-designed space will be an asset to the clinic, Shea says the opportunity to purchase the unit and invest on an ownership level appealed to him. Expansion of clients and staff was another push for the move, as Shea recently hired a third physiotherapist.
Updates about the opening date can be found on their website at southsimcoephysio.ca and clients can continue to contact them at their current phone number, which will follow them to the new location.
