Police get a busy start to March

The Nottawasaga Ontario Provincial Police were steady over the first weekend of March with 105 calls for service.

With rapid weather changes, police were dispatched to 14 motor vehicle collisions with no serious injuries reported. Police laid several charges for Highway Traffic Act violations from Suspended drivers to Driving with no insurance for their vehicle.

Nottawasaga OPP investigated five Domestic Disturbance type calls, two Assaults, and two Breach of Probation calls.

Police investigated and successfully located one Missing Person, a ten year old child in Essa.
