Next Thursday, June 6, from 11:30 a.m. until 2 p.m., Matthews House Hospice will host an Afternoon with Erin Davis at Tangle Creek Golf and Country Club (4730 Side Road 25, Thornton).
When Erin Davis, one of Canada’s most beloved radio personalities, lost her daughter Lauren tragically and unexpectedly, Erin and her husband Rob started the long journey through their loss, determined not only to survive but to reclaim the joy in their lives.
Mourning Has Broken, a novel, is their story about regaining optimism and hope for the future. This exclusive event at Tangle Creek will be a conversation with Erin Davis you will never forget.
Kevin Frankish, formerly of CityTV’s Breakfast Television, will be interviewing Erin.
Event proceeds will support the social, psychological, spiritual and emotional care needs of Matthews House Hospice patients and families who are wading their way through grief and loss. Tickets can be purchased online at matthewshousehospice.akaraisin.com/common/event/home.aspx?seid=19453&mid=8 or by calling 705 440-6755.
Tickets are $100 each and includes lunch and a copy of Mourning Has Broken.
