Reported child luring at CFB Borden

The Military Police Detachment at Canadian Forces Base Borden are advising members of the communities on and around Canadian Forces Base Borden to be extra vigilant of any suspicious activity in their area. The Military Police are currently investigating a reported incident which occurred on the Base in the residential housing unit area on July 10th. A previous incident, similar in nature, had been reported July 2nd and is also currently under investigation.
Canadian Forces Military Police are working with the local law enforcement agencies on the incident. Residents on the base can expect to see an increase in military police patrols across the base and specifically in the residential housing unit area.
If you have any information of this incident or witness anything suspicious, you are asked to immediately contact the Canadian Forces Base Borden Military Police Detachment at 705-424-1200. ext 2241 or dial 911 or your local police service. For your personal safety and those of others you are asked not to approach the situation unless there is someone in immediate danger.
