Ride on, Masons!

October 1, 2015   ·   0 Comments

The Tottenham Masonic Lodge No 467, held its annual Motorcycle Ride & Drive last Sunday to raise funds for the Lodge and The Barrie Learning Centre for Dyslexic Children. The weather couldn’t have been any more perfect for the event, and riders enjoyed warm fall temperatures. Those who attended were treated to a spectacular ride through some of the best scenery found anywhere in the world as they travelled through the back country of Dufferin and Simcoe County – the escarpment on County Road 21 was especially breathtaking. The whole group stopped in Creemore for lunch and after picking their third poker card were off again headed for their next stop in Primrose via Prince of Wales Road. All of the days participants ended up back at the Lodge for a roast beef on a bun dinner and prize giving. The ride raised over a $1,000 for the project and a good day was had by all who attended. Special thanks to: NAPA (Ideal Supply), Home Hardware, Tottenham and Williams Automotive, Ernie Dean GMC, Crabby Joe’s in Alliston.
