Search warrant reveals drugs and firearm

On July 11, the Nottawasaga OPP executed a search warrant at a residence on Pipers Hill Road in the Township of Adjala–Tosorontio. The Nottawasaga Street Crime Unit along with members of the Tactical Response Unit (TRU) and members of the Emergency Response Team (ERT) made entry into the residence and seized a firearm and illegal drugs. Charged is 60 year old Adjala–Tosorontio resident, Liam Floyd, he is charged with the following: Unauthorized possession of a firearm, Criminal Code of Canada; Careless storage of a firearm, Criminal Code of Canada; Production of a Schedule II substance (cannabis marijuana), Controlled Drug and Substances Act. The male will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice on August 21, to answer to these charges.
