“We’re just 55 women who love to sing and have fun.” – The Girls Night Out choir put on the Dollies Follies show at the Knox Presbyterian Church in Alliston on Saturday. The 55 member choir performs a couple big shows throughout the year and was accompanied by musicians Ruth Currie on piano, Shane Routledge on drums and Andre Sirois on bass. Sugartones choir also joined in on the fun, performing a few songs as part of the show. The night was also special as the Girls Night Out choir announced they were giving $3,000 to Matthew House Hospice. The money was raised through ticket sales and over the 14 years of the choir’s existence they have given $50,000 to various causes and charities.
