Sophie’s Sweets has much to celebrate

The last couple of months have been just incredible for Teresa and Carlos Trevino, owners of Sophie’s Sweets here in Alliston. They have had many reasons to celebrate. This past weekend Sophie’s Sweets celebrated their 2nd Anniversary. It was wonderful to see them reach this milestone. They have grown so much and done so much within our community within the last two years and it was a great opportunity for the citizens and customers to come and congratulate and celebrate with them. It started in March when Sophie’s Sweets was awarded the Business Excellence Award from the Alliston & District Chamber of Commerce. A few weeks later they received two awards from Nottawasaga Futures; Outstanding Customer Service and Quality Award for a Micro Business. They have done many fundraisers and have given back to Matthew’s House and The Good Shepherd Food Bank just to name a couple. A small little shop on Church Street has grown into a sit down cafe on Victoria Street, who gives to the community. Congratulations to Sophie’s Sweets and please keep making us sweeter, one cupcake at a time!
