The Tottenham Steam claimed game number 26 for the season with an 8–2 win Saturday (Dec. 19) night over the Bradford Rattlers at the Tottenham Community Centre arena
The Rattlers got the opening goal just 1:10 into the first period.
The Steam responded at the midway mark on a goal from Graham Pickard.
A second Bradford goal came 44 seconds later to give the Rattlers a one goal lead, but that was all they could do for the night.
The Steam scored three more times to end the first period.
Steam goals came from Matt Fischer, Thomas Freeman and Brandon Yorke.
A strong Tottenham defence kept the Bradford scrambling in the second period while trying to get back into the game.
The Steam notched two more goals from Fischer and Pickard to lead 6–2 going into the final 20 minutes of play.
Both Fischer and Pickard managed to get a hattrick for the night with both players scoring in the third period to end the game 8–2.
