Stevenson Memorial Hospital seeking volunteer Board members

Stevenson Memorial Hospital is looking for volunteers for its Board of Directors.
The Board provides strategic leadership and oversight of operations subject to the Public Hospitals Act, Hospital bylaws, and other requirements. The Board reflects a mix of skills, knowledge, and experience required for operating a contemporary rural health care facility.
At present, the hospital is seeking individuals from the hospital’s catchment area who are prepared to offer their time, energy, and expertise to serve as volunteer Board members.
Knowledge of the issues facing the hospital and the healthcare system in Ontario would be an asset.
In particular, they are looking for individuals with previous Board of Director experience for three committees.
These include Governance and Nominating, Finance, Audit and Property, and Quality.
Individuals with disabilities and those from diverse backgrounds and experiences are encouraged to apply.
