The Stevenson Memorial Hospital Foundation has announced they have received a pledge of $10,000 from Garry Mercer Trucking Inc., bringing their total commitment to the Foundation’s ‘Because of you, we can’ campaign up to $25,000.

“We deeply appreciate Garry Mercer Trucking Inc. And their family for their generous $10,000 pledge to our campaign,” said Mary Thomas, CEO of SMHF. “Their ongoing support reflects their dedication to enhancing healthcare services in our community and will contribute to improving patient care at Stevenson Memorial Hospital.”

Garry Mercer Trucking Inc. was founded in 1982 by Garry and Deborah Mercer. It thrives today under the leadership of their three sons, Brennan, Andrew, and Mitchell, along with a dedicated team.

“At Garry Mercer Trucking Inc., we believe in the vital role our community hospital plays in ensuring the well-being of our family, friends, and neighbours,” said Garry Mercer, owner of Garry Mercer Trucking Inc. “We’re proud to contribute an additional $10,000 to the Stevenson Memorial Hospital Foundation, supporting their invaluable work. Our family understands the significance of a local hospital, and we’re grateful for the opportunity to contribute to this critical need.”

The ‘Because of you, we can’ campaign is the largest campaign in SMHF’s history.

Donations received help purchase essential equipment, upgrade technology, and complete critical renovations essential to the transformation and redevelopment of Stevenson Memorial Hospital.
