The Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit is looking for adult smokers in Simcoe and Muskoka who are ready to make a quit smoking attempt. Free nicotine replacement patches will be offered to participants who qualify to participate in the STOP smoking study.
Preregistration for the study and attendance at one of the following March workshops is mandatory.
• Alliston: Thurs. March 21 6 – 9 p.m.
• Barrie: Tues. March 26 7 – 10 p.m. and Wed. March 27 7 – 10 p.m.
The exact location of the workshop will be provided at time of registration.

The STOP study is being offered in partnership with the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health, and is funded by the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care as part of its Smoke-Free Ontario Strategy.
