Successful day at FAB Golf Tourney

The 10th Annual FAB Golf Tournament was another successful event on a beautiful day at the Club at Bond Head on August 10th. Over $26,000 was raised!
The FAB group ‘Supporting a new Leisure and Training Centre in Beeton’ were encouraged by the support of the public and of the business community.
There were over 100 golfers and 30 more joined the event for dinner and entertainment. All of the participants went home happy with prizes, give-aways and auction items.
A sincere thank you goes to the sponsors and donors for their generous contributions.
This year organizers welcomed three corporate Platinum Sponsors. One was from McCague Borlack LLP Barristers; the second Platinum sponsor was from Beeton Meadows Limited/Sorbara Development Group; and the third from Smith and Associates Barristers and Solicitors.
In addition there were 4 Gold Sponsors, 26 Hole Sponsors, and 41 Prize Donors who contributed to the charity. Newmarket Infiniti/Nissan, Doner Horsley Insurance and Beeton Foodland provided hole-in-one opportunities.
Special thanks to all of the volunteers, Auctioneer Rob Sage, Alan Masters for music, Becky Medcof-Moher for graphics, and to the helpful staff at The Club at Bond Head.
