Take Your Battle to the streets!

The South Simcoe Arts Council presented the ‘Battle of The Brushes’ live art competition, part of the 2013 Arts on Main festivities, on Mill Street Alliston this past weekend. Numerous artists registered for a chance to win the $500 grand prize or $250 second prize. The event, which featured live music and a silent auction, gave participating artists 20 minutes to paint a 4 sq.ft. canvas with the provided acrylic paints and the audience decided the winners! Check out the Times next week for a picture of the winners and their paintings. Pictured: a little live music gets the painters ready to do Battle!
