TCW supports the Our Town Foodbank

The Tottenham Community Week committee collected food donations for the Tottenham ‘Our Town Foodbank’ during Community Week. Approximately 100 lbs of food was donated by Tottenham residents as part of the Thursday night skateboard and roller derby event at the Community Centre. In the picture from left to right is Connor Rideout, Ben Bergin, Isaac Weidlich and Luke Rideout. The donation will help the 97 families currently using the local food bank. During a tour, Bergin said at that this time of year donations are historically lower. The foodbank relies on organized events such as Tottenham Community Week, as well as the local Foodland stores, which sell bagged donations that contain items of the greatest need. The foodbank also accepts monetary donations, as well as new children’s gifts.
