Thanks for supporting Army Cadets

Dear editor:
On behalf of your local Army Cadets, I would like to say thank you to the community for helping us raise over $5,000 this past weekend during tagging.
As our main fundraiser for the Cadets, your generosity is overwhelming. I would also like to thank our local merchants for allowing us to be in front of their businesses for this event. Their support is most important.
In this day and age when things can be so negative, the community still comes together to help a worthwhile organization.
The Cadets are a youth program ages 12–18 that is provided at no cost to the parents and this is our main way to raise funds to allow the youth to do all of the fun events that they do on a weekly basis.
