The earth moves in Tottenham

May 2, 2013   ·   0 Comments

Council recently passed an Earthworks Agreement with Ballymore Development (Tottenham) Corp. to allow for the pre-grading of Phase I of the new Ballymore subdivision, located on the north side of Mill Street, to the east of the Canadian Pacific Railway and existing residential development, to the south of F&P Manufacturing Ltd. and west of agricultural lands. The Ballymore plan was approved by the OMB in June 1998 and the redline revisions to the OMB approved plan were approved by council on November, 2012. The subdivision plan consists of 561 residential units – a mix of singles, semidetached and townhouse dwellings, in one high density block. There will also be one commercial block, one school block, two open space blocks, one park and one storm management block. The subdivision will be developed in phases, starting in the southwest corner of the property and proceeding north and east.
