Guild Chiropractic Wellness Centre has served Tottenham for over 20 years and will once again be holding their annual Digital Infrared Thermography clinic on Oct. 22nd, in conjunction with breast cancer awareness month.
Thermography can be used to help diagnose and monitor pain or illness in any part of the body. An infrared camera is used to measure and pinpoint abnormal thermal changes within the body. Generally, problem areas show high temperatures due to increased blood flow and increased metabolic activity.
Many women choose to use it for breast scans as a preventative measure, but it can help assist in diagnosis of any issues you may or may not be aware of, such as breast disease, arthritis, gallbladder or digestive problems, fibromylagia and many other conditions. Any abnormal change in cellular activity can show up on a thermography scan. It’s highly sensitive, non-invasive, safe, painless, there are no side effects and there is no radiation.
