The Nottawasaga OPP were called to Essa Township for a report of three suspicious people leaving a fenced area of a residence on Roth Street on September 1, at 11:09 p.m. Police located the three people and started an investigation.
After the investigation, all three were arrested and are charged with the following: 20 year old Vanessa Wadden of Essa Township is charged with Trespass/Prowl Near Dwelling Place and Property Obtained by Crime under $5000, 31 year old Roger Rowley of Penetanguishene is charged with Trespass/Prowl Near Dwelling Place and Property Obtained by Crime under $5000 and 31 year old Darryl Verner of the Town of New Tecumseth is charged with Trespass/Prowl Near Dwelling Place and Property Obtained by Crime under $5000 and Possession of Break In Instruments. Both Rowley and Verner were held for a bail hearing and Wadden was released with a September 26th court date at the Ontario Court of Justice in Bradford.
The Nottawasaga OPP would like to ask the residents of Essa Township to contact the Nottawasaga OPP if they were victim to any break and enters of vehicles over the Labour Day weekend; some property has been recovered from this crime.
