Tottenham Foodland presents ‘Healthy Living Gala’

On Tuesday, June 17th from 5 – 8 p.m. Tottenham Foodland will be more than just a place to buy your groceries.
Transforming the store into a health emporium, Tottenham Foodland owner Johanne Leduc and Tottenham Foodland Pharmacist George Stathakis are assembling some of the finest and fittest businesses in New Tecumseth for the 1st Annual Healthy Living Gala.
Leduc encourages members of the community to attend this event to “empower your life” by learning the benefits of healthy living. This event aims to: promote healthy living; teach customers how to take care of their bodies – so it will take care of you; set the groundwork for all happiness – which IS health; provide food samples and refreshments.
Also at the show will be: vendor samples, cooking demonstrations, certified vegan and lactose free products for purchase and a “Gluten Free” representative. The first 100 guests will receive a free Beeton–Tottenham Business Improvement Association (BTBIA) ‘Shop Local’ bag, filled with healthy goodies, supplied by event sponsors: Running Free, Tottenham Curves, Taste of Freedom Country Inn, Epicure Selections, The Town of New Tecumseth, Tottenham Community Week, Spa–ology, Liv Nutrition, Gail’s Fitness Studio, Guild Chiropractic Wellness Centre, New Tecumseth Swim School, The French Laundry, Fueled by Nature Pilates, Absolute Health Care and Norwex. Living up to it’s slogan, “Fresh Food. Friendly Neighbours.” this event is not to be missed.
