Tow trucks and taxis taken off the road

On May 28, the Nottawasaga OPP and the Central Region Traffic Enforcement Team conducted routine annual inspections of tow truck and taxi cab vehicles in conjunction with the Town of New Tecumseth and the Township of Essa. All total, there were 17 tow truck vehicles inspected and 14 passed but four tow trucks were placed out of service. There were 16 taxi cab vehicles inspected and nine passed with seven placed out of service. Nottawasaga OPP would like to thank the Central Region Traffic Enforcement Team for their expertise during these inspections.
