Legendary Canadian rockers Trooper and special guests The Spoons will be performing live at the New Tecumseth Recreation Centre in Alliston on Saturday June 1st.
This specially ticketed event is part of the Enbridge Music On Main Festival, a two-day musical event featuring live performances at multiple venues over the course of the festival weekend, May 31 – June 1.
This years festival features over 20 live touring artists of various genres performing a series of concerts at venues including Crabby Joe’s and Coyote Cutie in Alliston, Muddy Water in Beeton and the Loretto Tavern.
Festival Headliner and Juno-award winning rock group Trooper, is best known for enduring hits such as “We’re Here for a Good Time (Not a Long Time)”, “Raise a Little Hell”, “Two For the Show”, “The Boys In The Bright White Sports Car” and many more. Universal Music officially named Trooper as “one of Canada’s top five selling bands of all time”, a band that is still selling out shows across the country and now set to bring some classic rock and Good Times to the Music on Main Festival 2013.
Supporting act The Spoons have also had a long-standing successful Canadian music career, known best for their hit singles “Romantic Traffic”, “Nova Heart”, “Old Emotions” and “Tell No Lies”.
Tickets for Trooper & The Spoons went on sale Monday April 22 at 10 a.m.
