Crime Stoppers of Simcoe-Dufferin-Muskoka along with the Nottawasaga Detachment of the OPP are requesting the assistance of the public in solving this crime.
On February 19, 2013 at 8:25 p.m. a fail to remain motor vehicle collision occurred on Church Street, in Alliston.
Police have learned that the fail to remain vehicle struck a parked 2012 white Toyota Corolla from the rear pushing it into a parked 2008 green Hyundai Sante Fe. Both parked vehicles were damaged.
Video footage obtained by police shows the suspect vehicle spinning its wheels trying to dislodge itself for approximately 3 minutes before finally succeeding and backing up and leaving the scene. Footage also shows approximately 15 vehicles drive by and a pedestrian walk by while the suspect driver was attempting to dislodge their vehicle.
