Walton announced on Tuesday it has started work on a new, sustainable community for the residents of Beeton. The initiative will be a joint residential project with notable homebuilders Alliance Homes and Cosmopolitan Homes.
The fully detached community just west of Patterson Rd on the 8th Line will consist of 127 bungalows and two-storey homes with lots ranging from 33’, 40’ and 45’ and sizes from 1,166 sq. ft. to 3,858 sq.ft., all priced from the low $300s.
Over half of the planned area has been dedicated to open spaces, including a significant portion to be permanently protected, the installation of a sophisticated servicing and stormwater management systems and over 2 acres of parkland.
The project development is to be spearheaded by Walton and will reflect a local partnership between residents, builders and Walton to help “create a genuine community for growing families to take root and grow, right here in Beeton,” said Jason Child, President, Ontario, Walton Development and Management.
Walton says its committed to building master-planned, whole communities and is committed to sustainable development. “By partnering with communities, we can realize a vision for growth that will help attract jobs, preserve the local heritage and aesthetic of Beeton and ultimately ensure that generations of families can live, work and play at home, in West Country” reads a press release.
