On August 26th at 6:15 p.m., Nottawasaga OPP were called to the Riverdale Park on Fletcher Street in the Town of New Tecumseth regarding a weapons complaint in the children’s play park.
While watching her children in the park, a female received a shot with what she described as a pellet gun to her forearm. She received a minor injury to her right forearm which did not require medical attention.
Police are looking for the public’s assistance in located the individuals involved in this incident. The suspect(s) were driving a Volkswagon Golf, grey or light silver in colour, the vehicle was last seen turning north bound onto King Street North from Fletcher Street.
Police patrolled the local nearby area but did not see any vehicles matching the description given by the victim.
