“Worst road in the township” to get upgrade

Essa council has made the first steps to improving a section of the 8th Concession which they admit is the worst condition of any township road.
Council awarded a contract to Duncor Enterprises to surface treat 2.5 kilometres of the road,north of the 20th Sideroad, near the Tiffin Centre. Duncor’s bid of $43,320 was the lows tot two bids submitted.
“I know that there are issues there. I have got more complaints about the condition of that section of road that another in the township,” said mayor Terry Dowdall.
Work will begin in the near future on the road.
