The 2019 Honey & Garden Festival took place on Saturday, May 25, along Beeton’s historic Main Street.

Over 190 vendors, offering unique merchandise for the home, garden and table took part in this incredible event – that packed the centre of town from the 10th Sideroad to Tecumseth Street.

Despite the rain, thousands of people still took part in the vent, which included the launch of the Simcoe County Honey Trail.

From perennials to pastries, fashion to farm produce, golf balls to garden tools it was all available for purchase, or admiration.

Back this year was the “Antique Alley”, featuring vintage finds and restored wonders.

The “International Marketplace” offered clothing, textiles, crafts and more from exotic locales around the world.

For the outdoor enthusiast, vendors offered all things garden related from seasonal decor, to plants, to gardening supplies.

The creations of talented local artists were on display for sale at the SSAC Artist & Artisans Marketplace in front of the Library.

Kids’ Corner offered a rock wall, and an inflatable bouncy obstacle course, as well as live performances from talented entertainers.

Live from the main stage was lots of great live music – from Beeton’s own famous Blue Grass band, to local singer Sean Bourke.

The Masonic Chip Program returned for 2019 as well, were all materials needed to identify your child in a crisis were provided through registration.

The Beeton Firefighters once again cooked up a storm for their annual Pancake Breakfast, thanks to local business for supplying ingredients – Breedon’s Maple Syrup, K2 Milling, Sheldon Creek Dairy, and Beeton Foodland.
