Nominations open for 2025 Adult Volunteer Service Award

The Town of New Tecumseth recognizes the outstanding contributions of the community’s volunteers through the Adult Volunteer Service Award.
Nominations for the 2025 awards are now open.
You can complete the Ontario Volunteer Service Nomination Form online or pick up a copy at Town Hall.
This award recognizes volunteers for providing committed and dedicated service to an organization.
Adults are recognized by the length of time they have volunteered with one organization, ranging from five to 65 years of continuous service.
The nominee must be a living person residing and volunteering in Ontario, and not have received payment for their volunteer work.
They must be active beyond simple membership in an organization and not have performed the services as part of their regular business or professional duties.
An adult nominee must have volunteered with one organization for at least five consecutive years.
Required information includes the nominating organization name, address, email, phone number and year established.
The application must also include the volunteer’s first name, last name, address, email, and phone number.
The head of the organization’s personal information should also be included.
The deadline to nominate someone is Nov. 15.
Nominations received after the deadline will be considered in the following year.
