$10,000 donation to Stevenson Memorial Hospital Foundation

The Stevenson Memorial Hospital Foundation got a boost through a donation to the hospital’s obstetrics unit and the “Because of you, we can” campaign supporting the redevelopment of the hospital.
A $10,000 donation from Joseph and Tori Madsen is in addition to the $5,000 Madsen Family pledge that the family has committed to.
“As someone that has grown up in the area and is now building my life here with my wife and two young children, it is imperative to my family to have Stevenson Memorial Hospital here,” said Joseph Madsen, Real Estate Agent with the Faris Team. “As a local real estate agent, we feel it is important to give back to our community. Stevenson is there for us when we need care the most, and we are overjoyed to be part of ensuring that our physicians, nurses, and hospital staff have all the tools they need to take care of our growing community.”
The $43 million “Because of you, we can” campaign is the largest campaign in SMHF’s history and is supporting the redevelopment of the hospital.
“We are thrilled that Joseph and Tory have made such a generous gift to the Campaign,” said Mary Thomas, CEO of SMHF. “It is with the generous support from local businesses and community members that we will achieve our $43 million goal that will transform Stevenson and health care in our community.”
