It will be a chance to view some outstanding art when the artists at the Gibson Centre host their 17th annual exhibition.

This year’s theme is “A Brush With Colour.”

There are 15 artists who are entering their work for jurying this year. A total of 40 works of art will be submitted for the show.

Artists paint and draw in watercolour, oils, acrylic, and use various other mediums.

Artists at the Gibson Centre paint there twice a week. The Tuesday group paints under the direction of the centre’s artist in residence, Greg Hindle.

The Wednesday group enjoys painting together and helping each other if needed.

All levels of skill and experience are welcome on both days.

The show will run from Thursday, Sept. 11, to Sunday, Oct. 19.

A “Meet The Artist” reception will be held at the Gibson Centre in Alliston on Sunday, Sept. 14, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

This is an opportunity to meet with the people who created this show and learn more about them and the inspiration for their art.
