Abilities in Motion has a lot of fun activities planned this summer, both on and off the water at Earl Rowe Park in Alliston.

The group offers a free paddle experience for individuals with physical and mental challenges using adaptive paddling equipment.

Abilities in Motion operates two locations. They have a boathouse and dock at Earl Rowe Park in Alliston and they also have a location in London.

AIM provides equipment, instructors, and volunteers to ensure a safe and fun time on the water.

From July through August, AIM will be hosting its annual fundraiser – Hands Across the Water.

This important campaign helps cover the costs of offering paddle programs free of charge to individuals who benefit from using adaptive paddling equipment.

The organization’s Annual Regatta will take place on Friday, August 15, and Saturday, August 16, at Earl Rowe Park.

There will be family-friendly games, a hot dog lunch, and rides in a big canoe. On Friday, clients will enjoy a full day of activities.

On Saturday, the fun continues with a community celebration.

Currently, AIM is hosting a 50/50 raffle to raise funds for its programs.

Tickets are $10.00 each, with the draw for the winning ticket to be held on Saturday, August 16, during the regatta.

You can purchase 50/50 tickets at one of AIM’s community events or by E-transfer.

Send your payment to raffle@abilitiesinmotion.ca and indicate how many tickets you would like to purchase, your name, email, and telephone number, and your ticket numbers will be sent to you via text.

Abilities in Motion provides a fun experience on the water with special adaptive equipment to make it a fun experience.
