Absolute Wedsite offers destination weddings in exotic locations

As one of Tottenham’s newest businesses and its only travel agency, Absolute Wedsite brings a unique travel experience to those wanting to experience their wedding at an exotic destination.

Destination weddings have become increasingly popular as it provides both a ceremony location and honeymoon experience for couples who want to get away for their special time together.

It also provides wedding guests with the opportunity to enjoy a few days of vacation for themselves when attending a family or friend’s wedding.

A family-run business, Absolute Wedsite moved to Tottenham when the Pahwa family relocated to town and decided it was more convenient to operate locally. Since many of their agents work from home, and much of a vacation package can be obtained online, the Absolute Wedsite business model of a smaller office, closer to home, works very well.

“We are a destination wedding business,” explained Kunal Pahwa, company director. “We do destinations for anyone who are planning to get married abroad. Most of our business is done in the Caribbean but we can do weddings all over the world. Weddings in the Caribbean are very popular because people can buy all-inclusive packages. Destination weddings have been picking up for the last decade especially, and they’ve become even more popular during and after COVID.”

While the Caribbean is a popular destination, Absolute Wedsite can arrange a wedding package anywhere in the world. However, the Caribbean is competitively priced, which attracts many people. The farther away you want to go, the higher the price.

“People like the all inclusive experience like you can find in Mexico and the Dominican Republic, and really all the Caribbean islands,” Kunal explained. “It’s all inclusive – you pay one price and you get the flight, the transfer, the hotel, and food and alcohol, and all that’s included. For a week, you don’t have to think about anything.”

Absolute Wedsite books everything from small weddings of ten people to up to several hundred guests.

“Many people these days are already planning a vacation. Some people will plan out a seven day vacation. They attend two or three days of wedding events – they think they can be present at the wedding then also have a vacation at the same time. We have to listen to what people are looking for, because a lot of people will have a vision of what they want. The biggest thing is the price. Depending on the price we will suggest certain destinations. That also includes the number of guests that will be going and what type of hotel they are looking for, as well as what the overall wedding vision is.”
