In the early morning hours of Aug. 26, 2022, gunshots rang out in front of a home on Kidd Crescent in Alliston.

A 38-year-old woman, later identified as Sibel Duzguner, was located on the front lawn when OPP and other emergency services responded to calls just before 6:30 a.m. Duzguner was pronounced dead shortly after being transported to the hospital.

When contacted, OPP investigators said they can provide no additional information regarding this case.
