The Alliston Tennis Club is offering young first-time players or those interested in learning the sport the opportunity to come out and see what it’s all about.
The Alliston Tennis Club Rogers First Set Try Day is open to kids ages 5 to 16 and is designed to be a fun and engaging introduction to tennis for new players and those with little experience.
Participants will learn the basics of tennis, including serving, rallying, and scoring, in a supportive and friendly environment.
This includes a hands-on introduction to tennis fundamentals, play-based activities to build confidence and excitement, and a focus on learning to serve, rally, and score.
No previous experience is required, and all equipment will be provided.
This is a great opportunity for children to discover the joy of tennis and start learning the sport.
Kids will learn from tennis instructor Peter Simko.
The Alliston Tennis Club Rogers First Set Try Day will take place on Friday, June 5, 2026.
There will be two sessions, at 4 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.
Sessions will take place at the Alliston Tennis Club at G.A. Wright Athletic Field at 251 Albert St. East in Alliston.
Kids must register to attend.
