Alliston women wins $100,000 with LOTTO 6/49

Playing the lottery has paid off for an Alliston resident.
Teresa Tereso-Nugent matched the last six of seven ENCORE numbers in the exact order in the July 26, 2023, LOTTO 6/49 draw.
The payout was a cool $100,000.
Teresa, who is self-employed, said when she purchased the ticket, she told the cashier, “This is the winning ticket!”
She discovered she was right when she checked her ticket a week later on the OLG App.
“I sent a screen shot to my sister to confirm the win,” Teresa explained. “I tried calling my husband, but he didn’t answer so I waited until I got home to tell him. He couldn’t believe it. This win feels fantastic.”
Teresa said she has yet to make any plans with her winning money.
